Universidad y autonomía actual en Perú

Abstract

To evaluate conceptually the university and its autonomy, a retrospective look will be developed during the last fifty years, using legislation as a source on its levels of constitutional and legal rules. The starting point in the past will be 1960 and the University Law N°13417 and for the present the University Law N°30220 in force since July 10th 2014. At constitutional level, the Constitutions from 1933, 1979 and 1993 will be reviewed. The result will provide us the elements of judgement about the content and scopes, from a legal point of view, from the concept of university and university autonomy, on its historic and contextual relationship with its effect of coherence or incoherence with social, economic and human Development of Peru.
